Pipe Bursting Technology is ideal for conditioning and sizing pipes for pipe liner installation. Pipe bursting is the only way to restore the inside diameter of a pipe to a condition where a pipe liner can be installed. Now pipe restoration under detached garages, swimming pools, patios, landscaping can be obtained without excavating a trench. This is the latest technology and the best solution available on the market today, especially where it is impractical or too expensive to excavate and replace a drain lateral. Replacement pipes or new pipes can be installed trenchless.
 
Bursting:
 
Pipe bursting is accomplished by pulling a variety of tools through the inside of the pipe with 12,000 to 36,000 pounds of force. Drain "O" Rooter also uses pneumatic tools for bursting.
 
Functions:
Broken pipe sections or joint offsets from mild to severe can be burst to permit pipe lining. The pipe liner stabilizes the joint or section of pipe permanently. Different heads perform different functions, such as restoring inside diameter to broken pipes and joint offset removal making the pipe ready for a pipe liner.

Hard Blockages:
Hard blockages, such as broken collapsed pipes that cannot be penetrated or opened by conventional drain cleaning methods (i.e. roto rooters, high-pressure water jetters, etc.) can be opened. After penetration they can be conditioned and sized by pipe bursting for pipe liner installation and stabilization--a permanent repair!
